Born as Casey Stallworth, Kasey Karma is an American Hip-Hop artist and songwriter. Born and raised in Virginia, Karma embarked on his musical career during his early teen years. As a young kid, he always had that magnetic attraction to music. His ears caught the vibes of Nas, Jay Z, Black Thought, Biggie, Tupac, etc. These artists would be the ones to introduce Karma to the dynamic craft of Hip-Hop. Listening to songs after songs, by the age of 14, without a doubt, he knew he wanted to tell his story on a lyrical level. He started writing his own lyrics and his passion to express his life and times continued to mature. The experiences he had growing up in the South Norfolk District of Chesapeake, not only fueled the fire to his lyrical genius, it also fueled a wildfire outside of it. The streets played as a dangerous battlefield that mirrored the warfare inside his head. Despite the troubles he got into and repeated incarcerations, Karma continued to move forward with his vision in the music arena. By the age of 20, he invested more into his craft, producing dynamite music, dropping documentaries and expanding to other regions along the east coast. Formerly known under the name Truly Yours, Karma released the mixtape “Truly Yours Your Honorable” that got the attention of the masses and opened an opportunity to perform alongside some of the industry’s most prolific entrepreneurs. His original style, charm and charisma create a body of work and platform like no other in the modern day Hip-Hop game. He is the perfect crossroad of where original Hip-Hop meets the New Age sound.
