Mohammed K Paika – You Are Sufficient

Mohammed K Paika is a singer/songwriter who specializes in spiritual music.

Mohammed K moved with his family to the United States in the 1980s and started his early schooling in the US where he came across many wonderful teachers from various backgrounds which helped shape and guide him. He has learned from individuals who have varied backgrounds and who share many different faiths (Jewish, Christain, Hindu, Buddist, Sikh etc.).

He first noted an inclination towards spirituality and music in his teenage years and also at that time had a keen interest in singing and performing live. He sang his first song at the age of 13. He has enjoyed partaking in family events and community events were he often has performed live. He started his carrier with Eastern and Western musical influences which helped shape his singing and performances. He wrote and composed his first song along with his close friend at the age of 19. During that time he had also had a keen interest in learning the piano and guitar.

During his undergrad years he had joined the silent thunder organization which is a center for martial arts. He was part of a spiritual “band” at the center which consisted of 4 other members. He performed along with David Mokurai, Jean Starr and Nicholas Arnal. He would often partake in life performances at the Center and also had released his first album with them.

His latest album is called Unity which is a fusion of modern contemporary and spiritual based music.
