Tally Koren – Femme Fatale (The Velvet Underground Cover)

Born in Israel, but living in London (via Mexico and the USA), Tally is a Radio 2 playlist and a Fringe Award Winner for best singer songwriter in 2011. With an impressive catalogue of live performances under her belt with venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, The National Arboretum, The Belgrade Theatre, The House of Lords, MK Dons Football Stadium, The Marbella International Film Festival, and Tate Britain for the birthday celebration of William Blake.

Tally’s low sultry voice with her slight accent was always compared to the German born singer Nico who originally sang it, but Tally’s interpretation of the song creates a very uplifting track that
becomes a real classic tune.

The new Album “Covers for Lovers” is a selection of 12 known love songs with Tally’s unique interpretation, she puts her stamp on each one. The album’s birth is a result of Tally’s virtual concerts during the pandemic these last few months. She entertained her neighbors and attracted online fans in many countries with a weekly live streaming from the balcony in the courtyard of her apartments. The album has a perfect feel for the festive season with its relaxing nature and emotive singing.
