Tru Story – City Of Atlanta (Audio)

Tru Story is a Atlanta base rapper, singer, and songwriter.

At the age of nine, Tru Story and his family moved to Atlanta from the U.S. Virgin Islands. Growing up in the streets of East Atlanta it seems like trouble followed him everywhere. His first arrest came when he was 13 yrs old for possession of a stolen vehicle. After being released life would not get better, seeing that he gets kicked out of the next four schools he attended. At age 19 he was arrested for a series of crimes that includes him being the head of the notorious “21Gang “ and would have him down for next six years. While in prison Tru Story worked on perfecting his craft and learning what he can about music from books sent in by his brother. In late 2015 Tru Story was released and spent most of his time from then until now along side producers jonboi and Drum Majors to craft the #Life Of A Block Boi EP dedicated to a childhood friend Tru Blood who was arrested on numerous armed robbery and gun charges.
